Who We Are
Matt Walsh is an American who has spent his entire 25-year professional life working in the media, mostly recently a 12-year span with CNN. His experience with the network covered virtually all aspects of television news production, as an editor, writer, and producer, plus a variety of technical production positions. He was CNN Hong Kong's chief trainer for both new staff and veteran journalists, and also conducted numerous training seminars for CNN affiliate stations around Asia, as well as for the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union.
Mr. Walsh has worked for CNN International, CNN Headline News and CNN Airport Network, and was a radio host and producer at several regional radio stations in the U.S. He has lived in Hong Kong since 1999, where he also lends his voice to a wide variety of voiceover projects, including TV commercials, corporate videos, feature films and educational products. He speaks Mandarin and has traveled extensively in China and throughout Asia.
Rob Killorn has been working at the highest levels of television news production for 20 years. A native of eastern Canada, he began his career at the CBC where he was part of the team that launched the network's new 24-hour news channel in 1988.
In 1995, Mr. Killorn moved to Asia where he continues a long career of editing, directing and shooting news and documentary films, basing himself variously in Hong Kong, Singapore and Bangkok. He has been on staff at CNBC, CNN and Reuters and done freelance work for virtually every major English language news organization, including ABC, NBC, BBC, Bloomberg, Al Jazeera, TVNZ, MTV, RAI, Oprah and The United Nations.
